Debbie Murphy has joined the Williston Pioneer Sun-News as its advertising representative serving Williston, Morriston Gainesville and part of Marion County.
Murphy is no stranger to the area–in 2008 she worked at the Chiefland Citizen and most recently has worked at our sister papers in Ocala.
A native of Vandalia, Ill., Murphy has lived in Florida for more than 25 years and has vast experience in customer service and sales. Some of her jobs outside of the newspaper industry include dog groomer, dog obedience trainer, Fed Ex driver and dive shop worker.
She is also the former owner/publisher of the Penny Pincher in Ocala.
Murphy attends Meadowbrook Church in Ocala and enjoys quilting, boating, camping and RVing and being a dedicated Farmville Farmer on Facebook.
Single, she is proud mother to Ben, who, with his wife, Taylor made her grandmother to Cora, now 15 months old and the light of her life.
