A beautiful spring Saturday morning and the sound of 70 motorcycles wheeling into the bus loop made for a very happy group of fifth graders, all members of the Williston Elementary School Safety Patrol. The organization’s Third annual “Cruzin’ for Kidz” motorcycle ride, held March 5, was a success!
Sponsors, t-shirt and lunch sales as well as donations brought in close to $9,000, almost as much as last year. The fund-raiser helps defray the cost of the 64 patrols who will make the pilgrimage to Washington, D.C., in June.
