The city of Williston will host the Trail of Treaters Friday, Oct. 29 from 5-7 p.m. See pages 23-24 for a map of participants.

Bronson Chamber Yard Sale
The Bronson Chamber of Commerce is planning a yard sale to benefit its Pumpkin Festival Oct. 30.
The yard sale will be Sept. 18 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at 404 N. Hathaway.
HCE Annual Sale
HCE (Bronson Homemakers) is having their second annual sale on Saturday, Oct. 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of the Levy County Extension Office on Alt. U.S. 27 (625 N. Hathaway Ave.) in Bronson.

Etheridge Reception
A retirement reception for G. Frank Etheridge, school board member from the Williston area will be held from 4-6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1 at the Willisotn Middle School Cafetorium.
The reception is hosted by the public schools of Williston: Joyce M. Bullock Elementary, Williston Elementary, Williston Middle and Williston High Schools

Love and Remembrance Memorial
The Haven Hospice Love and Remembrance Memorial is open to anyone in the community who has lost a loved one. Attendees are encouraged to bring pictures and mementos of loved ones that can be placed on our Table of Memories. Refreshments will be served. Registration is not required.
The memorial will be held Thursday, Nov. 4 at 6 p.m. at Haven Hospice Tri-Counties Care Center, 311 N.E. 9th St., Chiefland. Call Haven Hospice at 352-493-2333 for more information.

FFA to have pre-game barbecue
The Williston FFA chapter will have a barbecue dinner fundraiser on Friday, Nov. 5, prior to the homecoming football game against Newberry. The dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Williston High School cafeteria. The dinner is only $8 and you can purchase a ticket from any FFA member or call the Agriculture Department at 352-528-2153. Walk ins are welcome.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars at 3107 W. Dunnellon Rd, CR 488, Dunnellon presents: Breakfast, including a massive plate of victuals (10 items), is served the second and fourth Sunday of every month from 8:30 - 11 a.m. at a cost of $6.
