"Ryan Kline is an 'all around' excellent student! He has been a positive role model for his peers all year long. He is very aware of his behavior and following classroom rules. His peers look to him as a positive influence in our classroom. Ryan's outstanding behavior has led him to the top of the class academically. He is reading approximately 130 words per minute!
"His classmates are very supportive and excited about his reading achievements. Ryan is also very creative. He loves to build and create things. His creativity shows through in the stories he writes and illustrates. All of Ryan's classmates look forward to reading his stories! Ryan has such a positive impact on all of his classmates and teachers, we are very proud to be Ryan's teachers!"
Karlie Bowling, fifth grade, Williston Elementary School, daughter of Anthony and Dawn Bowling. She was nominated by Mrs. Rivers, who made the following comments.
"Karlie loves her 'whole family dearly.' She likes to play sports. Karlie says she has lots of 'great friends.' She absolutely loves animals and has one gecko, a chinchilla, a dog, cat and fish. When she grows up, Karlie wants to be a teacher or a veterinarian.
"This amazing young person is a natural leader and an excellent student. In addition, she truly exhibits the qualities and personality traits of a good citizen. I know Karlie will be proud but humble to learn she has been selected as your April Student of the Month."
