A Chiefland man is being held on a $6 million bond following a series of incidents Aug. 17 that included a high speed chase, assault and attempted murder on a law enforcement officer.
Jonathan Maurice Allen, 24, of 10091 NW Ave. was arrested for attempted murder on a law enforcement officer, five counts of aggravated assault, possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, tampering with evidence, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, sale of cocaine within 1000 feet from a place of worship and two counts of unlawful use of a two way communication device.
