Charity golf event to be on April 12

On April 12, the International Association of Firefighters Local 4069 will host a charity golf tournament to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association at Williston Highlands Golf and Country Club.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and tee off is by 8:30. Continental breakfast and barbecued lunch will be provided.

There will be prizes for first, second and last place which include cash and other items. Many prizes will be raffled off. There will also be hole prizes including longest drive, longest putt, closest to pin and hole-in-one.

Cost is $200 per four-man team. Create your own teams and sign up at the golf course. Singles will be grouped with other singles or pairs.

Beverage and snack cart will be provided.
