It all comes down to this: 12 hours of non-stop fun, laughter and games as a year-long fund-raising effort climaxes with the biggest party Williston has to offer–the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.

More than 20 teams, representing every walk of life, will celebrate the fruits of their labor Saturday night when the Relay kicks off at 6 p.m. with the Opening Ceremony, Survivor Lap and Caregiver Lap.

Cancer survivors of all ages, sizes and colors will come together to celebrate living.

After the initial laps, the real fun begins with pageants, contests and music.

And did we mention food? Lots of it. Available for purchase will be everything from sandwiches to desserts and snacks.

At 9 p.m. luminaries will be lit to honor survivors and pay tribute to those whose lives were  lost in the fight against cancer.

The fun winds down the next morning with praise and worship at 6 a.m. followed by the Closing Ceremony.

There’s something for the entire family.

Join the celebration Saturday at Booster Stadium. Drop in for a while or stay all night. But do come and join in the remembrance and the fun.
