BOCC hears proposed Williston roads funding

The Florida Department of Transportation is preparing its wish list of projects in its five year plan, and Levy County will have several projects in it — including construction of a new taxiway for a runway at Williston Municipal Airport for $250,000 in fiscal year 2018,
Jordan Green, Florida Department of Transportation District 2 rural area transportation development engineer, presented the district’s five-year transportation plan to the Levy County Commission at its regular meeting on Nov. 20.
