Trevor Baldwin and Joan Williamson were married in the Registry office at Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire, England Dec. 3, 1960.
The couple came to the United States in March 1979 after his retirement as a Chief Petty Officer in the Royal Navy after 25 years of service. He then became a self-employed subcontractor for the major company installatons over most of Florida for a number of years.
The couple moved from the Miami area to Romeo in 1986 when they received their citizenship. They moved to Williston in 1999. Mr. Baldwin retired in 2000 as a quality controller at Monterey Boats.
The couple became parents of three boys and three girls–he delivered three of his children.
The couple has 25 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, with another three due soon.
The couple will celebrate their anniversary with family and invited friends in the Cultural Hall of the LDS Church.
