Forty-two members of the Williston FFA Chapters attended the 84th Annual State FFA Convention along with their advisors Chris Wilder, Ben Randolph and Natalie Couey.
At the convention, held in Orlando, over 3,000 FFA members came to be recognized for accomplishments, compete in state contest finals, and to elect new officers for the coming year.
While there they participated in leadership workshops and the nine general sessions of the convention as well as the FFA Mega Party on Thusday night.
Williston was well represented at the awards presentations with seven members receiving State Chapter Farmer Awards and the Agri Business Managment team winning the state competition. They will represent Florida at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind. this October.
Also recieving recognition was Williston’s FFA Alumni Chapter. They were placed first in the state and will also represent Florida at the National Convention.
