A Williston horse stable complex was destroyed Sunday and 11 horses died when a fire broke out after midnight.
When Williston Fire Rescue arrive around 2:01 a.m., the stable was fully engulfed. Back up from Levy County Rescye Engine 783, Marion County Fire rescue and Bronson Fire Rescue was utilized for more than six hours during the fire.
Firefighters removed the metal roof to help extinguish the flames. Personnel was released shortly after 8 a.m.
